Teams were split into three groups for the night ahead

Team 1 (Fiona, Andrew, Laney & Denise)

Vigil 1

1.05 am Several knocks heard when calling out to the atmosphere. Fiona’s camcorder batteries drain completely even though 10 minutes remained.

Immediately after, Laney asked out with some determination for a sign of any spirit presences & if so they could touch him, with that Laney shouted out in pain!

The rest of the group went to his aid where he complained of a pain on the back of his neck. On examining Laney’s neck, we discovered fresh, deep scratch marks about three inches long. Laney (who is a strapping man, certainly not the type who would scare easily), was visibly shaken by the incident!

Without disrespect towards him, we ruled out the possibility that Laney could cause these injuries himself, since his nails were sufficiently bitten down & he clearly wasn’t carrying any object to reflect these injuries.

Under these circumstances, we departed from the cellar to the safety of the bar to reflect on this bizarre & un-nerving occurrence.

Team proceed with Ralph trying to communicate with spirit.

12.43am – Drew reports seeing a pair of legs walking the length of the bar, then they simply vanished.

Temperature drops recorded.

Team 3 (Noel, Lloyd, Sarah & Alana)

Vigil 1

Noel picks up the names of "Sheila", "Charlie", "Rose" or "Rosemary". Also he feels the essence of a small girl.

3.18am – Fiona reports seeing a figure walking through the old main foyer towards the toilets. On investigation nobody was found & there were no other exits apart from the foyer doors which were manned the whole time throughout the vigil!

Noel tells Sarah that a little girl in spirit likes to follow her about.

No further phenomena.

3.30am – Groups gather together to hold a séance in the cellar to enable the two mediums to shed some light on the occurrence that had happened earlier.

A man with the name of "Tom" came up.

Ralph explains to the group that no harm was intended by any spirit, it was the fact that Laney had wanted someone to touch him that is exactly what he received. Unfortunately for him, it may mean this particular spirit did not know his or her own strength!

An extremely loud noise is heard above us, where one of the members immediately try & discover the source- but to no avail!

As the investigation drew to a close & tired eyes were upon us, we were all still baffled by Laney’s injury. Fortunately, he made a rapid recovery!

The team all agreed that The Alexandra was worthy of another investigation in the near future.
