Gladstone House is a fine Victorian terraced house in Gateshead. It is currently used as a family run guest house. Hopefully, G.H.O.S.T would not be the only guests in the building tonight!

Reports of strange noises to full on apparition sightings gave the team all the ammunition to document these occurrences for ourselves.

Teams were split into three groups where team mediums intermingle between teams

TEAM 1 VIGIL 1 SERVANTS QUARTERS

Odd noises were heard , possibly natural causes –building creaking ; pipes etc.

TEAM 2 VIGIL 1 Front room/ downstairs

Drew,Derek, Gary I, Gary M, & Jess

Light anomaly recorded. 12am Derek (owner) felt strange after asking out – temp drops 2c immediately.

TEAM 3 VIGIL 1 LANDING

TEAM 1 VIGIL 2 Front room/downstairs

On entering front room Derek sat on the bed interacting with possible spirit presences in the room. He became quite distressed as he felt that the spirit was in pain & he was picking up the energies from this. Intermittingly becoming very calm. Kay (Derek’s daughter) concerned, decided to bring Ralph into the room where he calmed Derek down & shed some light on Derek’s strange reaction.

Ralph then proceeded to give Derek a reading, he gave the name "Willie" which Derek related to automatically as his late uncle who Derek was extremely close to. A lady with the name of "Phyllis" was also mentioned. Derek verified this was also someone he knew very well of who had passed over.

VIGIL 2 TEAM 2 Rooms 4 & 5 (Noel present)

Seance Room 4

Noel connects with a "Mark" & "Milly" both with brown hair. Someone is asking for Wendy (Derek’s other daughter.)

A "Mary Brown" lived in the house in the 1930’s, mention of a "murder"??

"Edna Watson" a plump woman in her late 40’s, who Noel believed worked in the building & later died just outside in the street?!

ROOM 5 GROUP SEANCE

Both mediums pick up on the energy of a boy that died at 9 years of age.

VIGIL 2 TEAM 3 Second floor (Ralph present)

Ralph picks up on a lady. He feels he wants to go up into the loft, something to do with a secret. One team member feels unwell.

VIGIL 3 TEAM 1 Second floor

EMF : nil

TEMP: 18c

1.35 – 2am

Kay tries calling out – no response. Lee tried to communicate still no response!

Séance - no results!

VIGIL 3 TEAM 2 Servants quarters

VIGIL 3 TEAM 3 Downstairs / front room

High emf’s recorded near curtains ( no electrics near vicinity.) Continues for several minutes then abruptly stops!

GROUP SEANCE

Ralph makes another connection with Derek. ( Due to strict confidentiality we cannot disclose personal information.) Lavinia who has no mediumistic skills, picks up on a woman giving a description of what this person looked like. Derek confirmed that he did indeed know who this lady was. Lavinia had no knowledge of who she was & surprised herself!

SUMMARY

The G.H.O.S.T team would like to thank Derek, Kay & Wendy Thompson for their kind hospitality. Also thanks go to all friends who participated in the investigation.

Not a great deal of activity was recorded, we can only surmise that the spirits of Gladstone House were having a day off. In respect, a very enjoyable night was had by us all.

Much appreciation to the occupants of Gladstone House living or dead!
